It is the name for the season of life where you are praying for something that seems impossible—just as Zakareya and his wife, Elizabeth, prayed for a child well past their years.
For many, Zakareya (or Zechariah) is a familiar figure from sacred texts. He was the father of John the Baptist—a man known for his patience, his devotion, and his quiet strength during a long season of waiting.
But beyond the historical figure, the name itself offers a powerful lesson. Zakareya means "God has remembered."
