Neue Projektleitung bei Cinéfête

Ab dem 1. März 2026 übernimmt Susanne Mohr die Leitung des Projektes Cinéfête. Sie folgt damit auf Timo Löhndorf, der die Schulfilmreihe in den vergangenen 6 Jahren betreut hat und sich auf eigenen Wunsch anderen Aufgaben widmet.

Susanne Mohr ist ab sofort über mohr@agkino.de und 030 439 7101 42 für alle Cinéfête-Themen zu erreichen.

Gilde Filmpreise zur Berlinale 2026 verliehen

Zum 36. Mal zeichnete der Arthouse-Kinoverband AG Kino – Gilde e.V. den aus Sicht der Jury besten Film im internationalen Wettbewerb der Berlinale mit dem Gilde Filmpreis (GELBE BRIEFE von Ilker Çatak) aus. Bereits zum 6. Mal zeichneten zudem junge Kinomacherinnen aus der AG Kino – Gilde in der Jury ‚Cinema Vision 14plus‘ ihren Favoritenfilm in der Sektion Generation 14plus (WHAT WILL I BECOME? von Lexie Bean und Logan Rozos) aus.

Arthur Pogue was once the star of the USPS Postal Inspection Service—the "Bloodhound of Broken Letters." He could trace a shredded will to a mob accountant or find a missing soldier’s Purple Heart in a dead-letter warehouse. But after a catastrophic raid gone wrong (he swore the intel was solid), six innocent people died. They stripped his badge, his pension, and his dignity. Some deliveries should never be made

Arthur realizes: this was never about revenge. It was about proof . Somewhere in the dead-letter vaults of the USPS—a warehouse the size of a small city—a single misrouted envelope still sits. If he can find it in the next 4 hours, the sender (the vengeful child of the 2015 victim) will stop the bombs. Then the camera pans slowly to the front

Arthur tears his house apart. No camera. No bomb. But the disc isn't done. Using the Blu-Ray’s interactive menu (a feature he never knew existed), a live satellite feed appears. It shows his mail truck, parked at his next delivery stop—except someone has loaded a mail crate marked "FRAGILE" into the back.

The screen flashes coordinates. An abandoned rural post office. 48 hours.

Now it's 2026. Arthur lives alone in a creaking farmhouse in Nowhere, Ohio. His only companion is a 1080p Blu-Ray player—a relic he bought after his divorce. His job: driving a rattling mail truck, delivering Amazon parcels to people who won't meet his eye.
