The answer to that question has changed dramatically over the last five years, defined by the shifting tides of the streaming wars, corporate consolidation, and the platform-specific strategies of Disney. As of 2026, Ratatouille is exclusively available to stream on Disney+ in virtually every territory worldwide, including the United States, Canada, the UK, Australia, and Europe.

Since its theatrical release in 2007, Brad Bird’s Ratatouille has transcended its status as a mere children's film to become a critically revered meditation on creativity, criticism, and authenticity. For the modern viewer, however, the question is rarely about the film’s quality, but rather: Where can I watch Remy the rat cook his iconic dish right now?

This was not always a foregone conclusion. Prior to the launch of Disney+ in November 2019, Pixar’s library was scattered across various licensing deals. Netflix, Starz, and even Amazon Prime Video held temporary rights to Ratatouille at different points. However, with Disney reclaiming its crown jewels for its own direct-to-consumer platform, Ratatouille found its permanent digital home.
