This study uses a mixed-methods approach, combining both qualitative and quantitative data. We conducted a survey of 1000 respondents to examine their attitudes towards online piracy and copyright infringement. Additionally, we analyzed data from various online sources, including social media and online forums, to understand the patterns and trends of online piracy.
Online piracy has been extensively studied in the context of copyright infringement and its impact on the film industry (Kumar & Shah, 2017; Nagarajan & Van der A, 2018). Research has shown that factors such as accessibility, affordability, and convenience contribute to online piracy (Sharma & Singh, 2019).
