Introduction Ghost 32 (often referred to as "Ghost32.exe") is the command-line and Windows-based companion utility from Norton Ghost , the legendary disk imaging and backup software first developed by Binary Research and later acquired by Symantec. While the full Norton Ghost suite is no longer actively sold or supported for consumer use, the standalone Ghost 32 executable remains a valuable tool in IT toolkits for deploying, capturing, and restoring disk images directly from a Windows environment—without booting into DOS or a recovery environment.
