Code E890 - Cat Fault

Start with a visual inspection of the pedal and its harness. If nothing obvious, replace the pedal. If the code returns, have a dealer run a calibration.

The fault code on Caterpillar (CAT) equipment is typically associated with a Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) or pedal input issue (often linked to the CAN data link or signal voltage out of range). cat fault code e890
